Something magical happened when this prickly pear cactus decided to grow against a weathered and worn shed. Individually, neither is out of place nor picturesque. But together, they form an image of contrasts and compliments -- hard and soft, one brightly colored, one in subdued color. Both aging in harmony to each other, like us.
