One of my favorite places to walk is the utility easement behind our house. I never know what I might find there. On this particular morning, I came across a discarded fruit from a neighbor's garden not too far from a snake. The combination of these two once-living things doesn't constitute a true paradox but the liklihood of the two being near each other (outside of the Garden of Eden) was rather unusual, I thought.
